Now, Mikuniya has had various staff members working under Neko-maistress Miku to create a wonderful time with our guests!
Currently, there are four staff members, not including myself, and one student working as an intern, who are indispensable to Mikuniya today.
Here again, we are looking for people to work with us at Mikuniya from April!

Mikuniya is looking for two types of positions: volunteer staff (multiple people) and paid staff (only one person),

🧹Job Description:.
Volunteer Staff: Various tasks related to guesthouse operations (work hours vary depending on the task).
Paid staff: Mainly daily cleaning, serving Japanese guests, and supervising volunteer staff (work hours are basically fixed). Free time outside of work hours (side jobs welcome).

🇬🇧 English Proficiency:
For both positions: Daily conversational level or above is preferred, but can be compensated for with motivation.

🇯🇵 Japanese Proficiency: Not required.
Volunteer staff: None.
Paid staff: Daily conversational level or above is preferred, but can be compensated for with motivation.

✈️ Visa Requirements
For both positions: Student or working holiday visa required for foreigners.

Duration of work: 📅.
Volunteer Staff: 2 days/week, 3-5 hours/day. Minimum 1 month.
Paid staff: 5-7 hours/day, 2 days/week. Minimum 2 months.

Salary: $25,000/month.
Volunteer Staff: None. 3 meals (vegan, dinner is curry every night) and dormitory (cold and hot). Three meals (vegan, curry for dinner every night) and dormitory (air-conditioning, heating, and Wi-Fi) provided.
Paid staff: From 1000 yen per hour (depending on ability and personality). Transportation expenses are covered (up to 1,000 yen) for commuters. For live-in staff, 1000 yen per day will be charged for dormitory and 3 meals. Full-time employees may be hired.

Shift: 👤 Shift
Volunteer staff: We try to accommodate flexible shifts as much as possible (consecutive holidays, couples/friends taking the same day off, etc.).
Paid staff: Shifts are generally fixed.

Use of facilities: 🧺Facilities
For both positions: washing machine (detergent included) and dryer available, e-bikes available for rent free of charge. Shared or private rooms provided (no sharing with guests).
